<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor capable of achieving high efficiency by reducing a loss in the sliding part between a piston and cylinder. <P>SOLUTION: A hermetic compressor accommodates a compressing element for compressing a refrigerant driven by an electric element while storing lubricating oil in a hermetic vessel. The compressing element includes a crankshaft arranged in a substantially vertical direction and provided with the main shaft and eccentric part, a block forming a compression chamber, a cylindrical piston reciprocating in the compression chamber and a connecting rod transferring the rotary motion of the eccentric part to a piston 140. The piston 140 is formed so as to keep a barycenter on an upper side or lower side in a vertical direction with respect to an axial center 170, thereby reducing a sliding loss to realize high efficiency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
