<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chemical substance sensor of high sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: The chemical substance sensor includes a laser beam source part having an SPR structure provided so that a part of the light energy in an optical resonator is lost by surface plasmon resonance, a standard laser beam source part outputting a laser beam becoming another criterion, a means for synthesizing the output light from the laser beam source part and the output light from the standard laser beam source part, a photodetector for detecting the synthesized light and a frequency measuring instrument receiving the output of the photodetector to measure the beat frequency of the synthesized light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
