PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding material capable of highly efficiently obtaining a welding joint having high strength and being excellent in low-temperature toughness. SOLUTION: The welding material is used for high-heat-input welding in ultra-low temperature environment. The welding material contains 0.01-0.10 mass% of C,≤0.05 mass% of P,≤0.008 mass% of S, 0.5-5.5 mass% of Cu, 5.0-25.0 mass% of Mo, 0.005-1.0 mass% of Nb, 1.2-3.0 mass% of Al, 1.0-6.0 mass% of W, and 0.0015-0.008 mass% of N, and a balance of Ni and impurities, and satisfies a formula (1): 108.5+621.9C+85.64Nb+136.7Al≥400 and a formula (2): 234.6-671.9C-3.020Nb-35Al≥100, wherein each symbol of elements indicates content thereof (mass%).
