PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium secondary battery and a capacitor capable of being easily discriminated whether they are authentic products and they are less likely to be manufactured of imitations. SOLUTION: A material including one or more kinds of elements which emits characteristic fluorescence to irradiation of an electromagnetic wave with a specific wavelength range and having a specific information associated with the spectral distribution shape of the emitting fluorescence is contained in a sheathing material of the lithium secondary battery or the capacitor. Furthermore, when the sheathing material is a laminated sheet successively composed of a base material layer, a barrier layer and a sealant layer accumulated, the material is desirably located farther to the outer side than the barrier layer.
