PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately select and display an image in a region desired by a user to confirm a focus state when the image is displayed after photographing. SOLUTION: When a captured image is displayed on a monitor after main exposure for storing an image on a storage medium, in addition to the captured image, an image corresponding to an AF region which is controlled so as to be focused among a plurality of AF regions is displayed on the monitor.
