PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a canal type earphone which can prevent the generation of atmospheric discharge and surface creepage. SOLUTION: The length of the fitting portion between a front case 1 and a rear case 17 which house a speaker 5 is lengthened, a sound aperture formed by the front case 1 and an ear chip 2 fitted to the front case 1 is lengthened, and the length of a neck-like portion 17a in which a cable through-hole of the rear case 17 is formed is lengthened, so that the discharging path of the atmospheric discharge as well as the discharging path formed by the atmospheric discharge and the surface creepage are made to be 10 mm or more in length.
