PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air cleaner structure which is easy to manufacture and has proper dust sealing property in the periphery of a pleated filter material. SOLUTION: In the air cleaner structure, a rectangular-shaped filter member 2, obtained by pleating a sheet-like filter material, is provided within an air cleaner case 1 to partition the internal space of the air cleaner case 1 into the upstream side and the downstream side by using the filter member 2, the filter member 2 is constituted as a filter member substantially free from a frame part; and in a filter member edge 2a extending in a direction orthogonal to the pleating direction of the filter member, the end portion of the pleated filter material is closely fitted to the inner circumferential surface of the air cleaner case 1, while being pressed in the pleating direction.
