PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compact waveguide choke structure which reduces a projecting portion from a face of a wall of a square waveguide to the outside. SOLUTION: In a choke groove provided in the vicinity of a connecting aperture end part of the square waveguide, when a free space wavelength is λ, within a range in which the sum of a distance L1 from an aperture edge of the square waveguide to the choke groove and a depth L2 of the choke groove is about 0.5λ, the distance L1 is shorter than the depth L2.
