<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately and efficiently evaluate transmission quality without significantly complicating the configuration, regarding a transmission quality evaluation device which evaluates the transmission quality of receiving waves, in a radio receiver having a function of compensating transmission distortion of the receiving waves. <P>SOLUTION: The transmission quality evaluation device includes: a transmission quality storage means that stores in advance the transmission quality obtained under the compensation of the propagation path distortion of the receiving waves in association with the SN ratio of the receiving waves, in the receiver that receives the receiving waves; an SN ratio specifying means for obtaining the SN ratio of the receiving waves as the ratio of the complement of the level Ln of the noise components of the receiving waves obtained as the ratio to the level of the receiving waves under the compensation and the level Ln; and a transmission quality evaluation means for referring to the transmission quality storage means on the basis of the SN ratio obtained by the SN ratio specifying means, and evaluating the transmission quality of the receiving waves. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
