<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved frame structure of a vehicle seat configured to move a seating surface in a frontal collision. <P>SOLUTION: The vehicle seat is configured in such a manner that, when a collision from the front relative to the occupant occurs, the seating surface of a seating part moves. The vehicle seat includes: a base frame 30 which is supported on the seating part at a position thereof which is on the vehicle body side; a movable frame 40 which is movable relative to the base frame; a second gas cylinder 61 which is activated in a frontal collision; and a second wire 62 which transmits a driving force of the second gas cylinder 61 to the base frame 30 to thereby move the movable frame 40 relative to the base frame 30. The movable frame 40 is formed to longitudinally extend to right and left side frames 41, and includes a guide hole 41A for guiding movement of the movable frame 40, and a connecting pipe 44 mutually connecting the right and left side frames 41.
