<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microlens substrate that is excellent in high transmittance, high refractive index, high heat resistance, chemical resistance, light resistance and crack resistance which are characteristics of the microlens substrate, and also is efficiently manufactured, a counter substrate for a liquid crystal panel, a liquid crystal panel and a method for manufacturing the counter substrate for the liquid crystal panel. <P>SOLUTION: The liquid crystal panel 200 manufactured by a liquid crystal dropping method includes a microlens substrate 10 having a recess substrate 11 having a plurality of lens-shaped recesses 111 formed thereon, and a convex lens substrate 12 constituted by filling the recess with resin composition. The resin composition is composed by condensation polymerization of a compound shown by a formula (1) Ar<SB>2</SB>Si(OH)<SB>2</SB>and a formula (2) RSi(OR')<SB>3</SB>. In the formula (1), Ar is a group having 6-20 carbon atoms and having at least one aromatic group. In the formula (2), R is an organic group having 2-15 carbon atoms and having at least either of at least one epoxy group and at least one carbon-carbon double bond.
