<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in compressive reaction in a corner 1B without causing fall-down in a gasket holding groove, in a waterproof gasket 1 installed in an outer shell case of small electronic equipment. <P>SOLUTION: This waterproof gasket includes alternately a straight part 1A and the corner 1B in the peripheral direction, and includes a main seal part 11 and a seating seal part 12 brought into close contact with a bottom surface of the gasket holding groove. The straight part 1A is formed with a shoulder 13 in the close vicinity of an inside surface of the groove shoulder of the gasket holding groove by overhanging in the width direction between the main seal part 11 and the seating seal part 12. The corner 1B is formed with a retreat part 14 in which a part between the main seal part 11 and the seating seal part 12 relatively retreats in the width direction from the shoulder 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
