<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever type electrical connector of which a user can not operate a main lever unless connectors are in a preset condition. <P>SOLUTION: The lever type electrical connector is provided with a lock arm 11 in one of the pair of connectors mutually insertion-coupled, a detent in the other connector to be engaged with the lock arm 11, a connector case 10 which is of almost a cylindrical shape, the lock arm 11 accommodated in free rocking in the connector case 10, a connector body 13 arranged in free sliding inside the connector case 10, a handle 14 to make advance/retreat movements of the connector body 13, and a main lever 15 to make advance/retreat movements of the handle 14, and that, a semi-lock arm 12 accommodated in free rocking in the connector case 10. It is so arranged that when the connector on the other side is not pressing a tip of the semi-lock arm 12, a rear end of the semi-lock arm 12 prevents advance moving of the handle 14. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
