<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely and easily detect the short circuit fault and disconnection fault of a light emitting element used for the backlight light source etc., of an LCD-TV. <P>SOLUTION: A difference voltages between outputs of a maximum detection unit 41 which detect a maximum monitor voltage among monitor voltages which are voltages at respective connection points between light emitting element arrays and driving circuits connected in series, and a minimum detection unit 42 which detects a minimum monitor voltage is compared with a predetermined reference voltage to detect the short circuit or disconnection of a light emitting element on the basis of a comparison result. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
