PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a point search device for reliably searching point information which satisfies a user, and also to provide a point search method and a program. SOLUTION: When a search term (a first search term) that includes a "name" as an attribute and a search term (a second search term) that includes a "category" as an attribute are inputted, a CPU 41 searches point information relating to the category corresponding to the second search term in the vicinity of the point specified by the first search term, and stores the information as the "point information" of vicinity search. Besides, the CPU 41 searches a facility name that includes the character string of the first search term and relates to the category corresponding to the second search term, and stores the facility name as the "point information" of normal search.
