PURPOSE: A foundation block for a seawall block support and a construction method thereof are provided to prevent each foundation block from becoming separated and lost by the strong combination between foundation blocks. CONSTITUTION: A foundation block for a seawall block support comprises a main body(10), a mounting part(30), and a fastening unit. The multiple bodies are consecutively assembled and installed along the river bottom. The mounting part is formed in the body to support the seawall block. The seawall block is mounted in the mounting part. The fastening unit is formed in the main body. One end of the fastening unit is inserted into the insertion hole horizontally formed on one side of the body.
