PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybridoma for producing a monoclonal antibody specific to a veliger of mussel belonging to the genus Perna or a method for preparing the same, a monoclonal antibody specific to a veliger of mussel belonging to the genus Perna or a fragment thereof, a reagent for detecting a veliger of mussel belonging to the genus Perna, a detection method, a detection kit and a detection device.SOLUTION: The hybridomas are prepared by isolating spleen cell from a mouse immunized by administration of a crude extract of an umbo-period veliger of mussel of Perna viridis to abdominal cavities and fusing the spleen cell with a mouse myeloma cell. The hybridoma for producing a monoclonal antibody that reacts with a veliger of mussel belonging to the genus Perna and does not react with a veliger of mussel belonging to the genus Mytilus is identified from the hybridomas.
