PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite sleeve roll for rolling which carries out stable rolling by reducing the wear of the sleeve roll due to the slippage of the sleeve roll and a shaft disk.SOLUTION: The composite sleeve roll 1 for rolling is rotated by frictional force imparted from the shaft disk 3 that receives transmission of drive force and is used in a 3 roll-rolling machine 10 that carries out hot-rolling. An outer layer part 5 protruding to a tip side above the shaft disk 3 and a part of a side surface 1a of an inner layer part 6 contacting with the shaft disk 3 are made of a high-speed steel material 7 with hardness of 80-90 Hs. At least a part of the inner surface 1b of the inner layer part 6 contacting with the shaft disk 3 has hardness of 65 Hs or more.
