PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail reminder system for providing a user with an e-mail reminder message regarding a television event.SOLUTION: An Internet television program guide system is provided that allows a user to access information related to a television program over an Internet communication link in a multi-media system. The user can view items in a television program guide list, and can view related video still shots and video clips. The user can perform a database search on the items in the program guide list. If desired, the user can select options for directly tuning the multi-media system to a television channel for a selected program, or to a related television program guide or movie guide services on a television channel.
