PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera apparatus, wherein power consumption during a photographing operation is further reduced in comparison with the prior arts.SOLUTION: A drive mode of a CCD is set to AF mode during AF control (S4) and set to capture mode during photographing (S12). During a high-speed sweep-out term in which the CCD is being driven for the purpose of sweeping unnecessary charges, which are not used as pixel information, out of the CCD under the AF mode and the capture mode, an AFE for processing an imaging signal output by the CCD is brought into a stop state (S5, S9, S13, S17), thereby eliminating useless power consumption of the AFE while the mode for photographing is set. |
