PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the overall power supply efficiency of a power supply device that uses a solar battery.SOLUTION: The power supply device includes the solar battery 2; batteries 41 and 42 consuming the generated power of the solar battery 2; and DC/DC converters 11 and 12 for performing power conversion between the solar battery 2 and the batteries 41 and 42. A controller 3 sets a target value, related to the inter-terminal voltage or output currents of the solar battery 2 for optimizing the product of the power generation efficiency of the solar battery 2 and the conversion efficiency of the DC/DC converters 11 and 12, and controls the DC/DC converters 11 and 12 so that the target value is realized, based on the charging voltages of the batteries 41 and 42. |
