摘要 <p>&lt;P&gt;PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always obtain a stable quality of treated water by automatically adjusting operation time of aeration equipment in response to the fluctuation of an inflow load to carry out intermittent aeration. Ž&lt;P&gt;SOLUTION: The inflow load of sewage and the MLSS (mixed liquor suspended solids) of a reactor are measured using a flow meter 4 and an SS transparency meter 7 to compute an oxygen demand by a processing unit 28 of an automatic controller 27. The computed oxygen demand is integrated, and on the basis of the integrated value, the aeration equipment such as an aeration rotor 2 is intermittently operated automatically by a controlling unit 29 of the automatic controller 27. As a result, aeration time is automatically adjusted in response to the fluctuation of the inflow load and a microbe content. Further, drawing of excess sludge and recirculated sludge is controlled correspondingly to aeration time and the time point of the aeration to be automatically adjusted.
