<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of providing information desired by a user to the user without requiring any complex operation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the information providing system 1, a mobile terminal 10 has a first identification information storage means 114 for storing the first identification information of page information displayed so far by a page information display means 120; a selected first identification information specifying means 102 for specifying the first identification information selected by the user; and a displayed second identification information specifying means 104 for specifying displayed second identification information, which is the second identification information of the page information displayed by the page information display means 120, when the first identification information is selected by the user. A page information extracting means 106 extracts the page information from a page information collecting means 20 based on the first identification information and the displayed second identification information specified.
