PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an inkjet recording head which improves the ink discharge efficiency. SOLUTION: Ink to be supplied to the inkjet recording head 10 is circulated through a circulation path. At the same time, a piezoelectric element 30 which generates an ink discharge energy is disposed at an ink flow direction lower stream side than a nozzle 32 communicated with a discrete passage 26 in the discrete passage 26 where the ink is circulated flowing. A narrowing part 34 which reduces a passage cross section is set at the ink flow direction lower stream side than the piezoelectric element 30. When the interior of the discrete passage 26 is pressured by driving the piezoelectric element 30 so as to discharge the ink, a fluid resistance becomes larger at the time of pressuring than at the time of flowing of the ink at the narrowing part 34 of the lower stream side than the piezoelectric element 30.
