PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anti-glare film displaying superior anti-glare performance and capable of preventing the lowering of visibility by whitening, and exhibiting high contrast without generating glares, even when the film is applied ion a high-precision image display; and to provide a method for manufacturing the film.SOLUTION: In the anti-glare film including a transparent supporting body and the anti-glare layer layered on the transparent support body and having an uneven surface, the ratio H/Hof the energy spectrum Hof an altitude of the uneven surface in a spatial frequency of 0.01 μmto the energy spectrum Hof the altitude of the uneven surface in a spatial frequency of 0.04 μmis in a range of 3 to 15; the anti-glare layer is constituted of a binder resin and fine particles dispersed in the binder resin; and the uneven surface of the anti-glare layer is made of a surface formed by the binder resin. |
