PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater capable of preventing shortage of hot water by replenishing a lacking quantity of hot water in boiling hot water by solar heat by another heating means, in relation to boiling of hot water using both solar heat and another heating means.SOLUTION: Both a first hot-water storage tank 1 for heating hot water by a solar heat collector 2 and a second hot-water storage tank 3 for heating hot water by a heating means are installed; the quantity of hot water to be stored per day is calculated from boiling output of the solar heat collector 2; when shortage occurs, shortage of hot water is prevented by boiling the hot water in the second hot-water storage tank 3 by the heating means; and the boiling of the hot water is completed by a set time the use of the hot water is started. |
