PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging container having a cushioning function which can ensure a sufficient protecting performance against impacts, and in addition, has a large degree of freedom to the material of a cushioning sheet, can be manufactured at low cost, and has a stable quality, and to provide its manufacturing method.SOLUTION: This packaging container having the cushioning function includes a container body 11, and a cushioning sheet 12. In this case, the container body 11 consists of a material sheet 16 wherein a bonding layer 16b is formed by laminating an olefine based resin film on one surface of a base material sheet 16a of which the raw material is a thermoplastic synthetic resin, and for which a housing section 13 for housing to-be-housed articles is indented in such a manner that the bonding layer 16b may be arranged on the internal side. The cushioning sheet 12 consists of an unwoven fabric sheet 17 having air permeability, is stacked on the bonding layer 16b side of the container body 11 in such a manner that a gap may be formed to the bottom surface of the housing section 13 of the container body 11, and is heat-bonded to the bonding layer 16b on the external edge of the housing section 13 of the container body 11. |
