PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding bearing low in cost with a small number of components, stable in rotational torque and usable even in a high-load and corrosive atmosphere. SOLUTION: The sliding bearing 1 is made of a combination of an inner ring 2 made of synthetic resin and having a convex outer peripheral surface 2a, and an outer ring 3 made of synthetic resin and having a concave inner peripheral surface 3b corresponding to the outer peripheral surface 2a. The outer ring 3 is formed with inner ring built-in grooves 3a at two opposed parts of the inner peripheral surface 3b. The inner ring built-in grooves 3a are opened to at least one end face of the outer ring 3, and the inner ring 2 is built in the outer ring 3 through the inner ring built-in grooves 3a.
