PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a generator and a motor which are more highly efficient than existing ones in a synchronous generator and a synchronous motor using a permanent magnet. SOLUTION: Magnetic pole cores of an armature are not integrated like conventional ones but separated for each of magnetic poles, and are attached to a non-magnetic metallic fixture and integrated to form the armature. The magnetic pole of such the structure reduces core loss or copper wire loss of the armature, thereby achieving the highly reliable generator and motor. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
