PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an infrared sensor device for detecting a human body without fail. SOLUTION: The infrared sensor device includes its infrared sensor body 41 for arranging a plurality of sensor elements 52, detecting infrared rays in a matrix form; an optical system for guiding the infrared ray to the light receiving face of the infrared sensor body 41; and a sensitivity regulation means 61 for regulating the sensitivity of each sensor element 52, in response to the intensity distribution of the infrared-ray guided to the light-receiving face of the infrared sensor body 41 with the optical system. The sensitivity regulation means 61 lowers the sensitivity of the sensor element 52, at a position where intensity of the infrared ray is strong; regulates to enhance the sensitivity of the sensor element 52, at a position where the intensity of the infrared ray is weak; and equalizes the intensities of detection signals output from each sensor element 52.
