<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust collector with a blast diffusion function which can lessen damages on the body as much as possible at the time of powder explosion, can lower the risk of powder explosion and moreover, prevents blowing off of a diffusion cover at the time of powder explosion to avoid the risk on the surroundings, and the maintenance of the portion neighboring to an opening for the diffusion can be carried out with ease and thus it is safely usable also when installed in the outdoors. <P>SOLUTION: The dust collector is so configured as to filter powder dust suctioned in a dust collection chamber 2 of a body 1 through a suction port by a suctioning action of rotation of a fan 11 for dust collection with a filter 9 installed in the dust collection chamber 2 and discharge filtered clean air to the outside of the body 1 through a discharge port 20E and in the dust collector; a diffusion port 4H for releasing pressure and/or frames to atmospheric air at the time of powder explosion is opened in the upper face and the shape of the whole body is formed in a manner that a diffusion chamber formed to have an approximately reversely trapezoidal cross-section with a gradually widened cross-sectional surface area toward the diffusion port 4H from a lower side part is continuously installed while being communicated to one side part of the dust collection chamber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
