摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weight measuring apparatus for vehicle that can accurately measure the weight of a running vehicle without being influenced by a subtle change in vehicle traveling direction even when the center of the vehicle is deflected. SOLUTION: The weight measuring apparatus for vehicle measures a change in the amount of transmitted lights in an optical fiber itself due to weighting as a loss vibration, and detects an applied load from the loss vibration. A first load sensor 4A that is placed on a road surface 2 where a vehicle 1 can travel, at a nearly right angle to vehicle traveling direction, a second load sensor 4B having an acute included angleθ1 and a third load sensor 4C having a similarly acute included angleθ2 are arranged side by side. On the basis of the output of the load sensors 4A to 4C, an arithmetic device 8 calculates the number of axles of the vehicle 1 and the weight for each of wheels or axles, and then it calculates the total weight of each of wheels or axles as a weight of vehicle.
