PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rake-in type transfer device capable of projecting a claw even in a narrow place. SOLUTION: The transfer device slidingly transfers a cargo between a first placing place and a second placing place arranged in a close vicinity on the same level, and has a top arm 101 moving along an axis in the transfer direction at the side of the cargo, the claw 102 for applying a force in the transfer direction by abutting on a back face of the cargo, that is, the claw 102 rotatably held in at one end of the top arm 101, and a projecting mechanism 107 for projecting the claw 102 in the direction of the cargo by rotating the claw 102 while moving a rotary shaft of the claw 102 in one end direction of the top arm 101.
