PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select equipment and piping that are vulnerable to freezing in the construction of a nuclear power plant and keep them from becoming damaged due to freezing, by preventing the ingress of cool air with a temporary door and moisturizing with a temporary heater for the equipment and piping selected. SOLUTION: Construction management on the piping and the equipment is conducted, on the basis of outside air temperature and meteorological data by obtaining meteorological data through prior measurement of the outside air temperature on site and the temperature at spots inside a reactor building 1, where temperatures could drop below freezing, selecting the piping and equipment near a door 5 of the reactor building, which is susceptible to the change in outside air and is highly likely to freeze and conducting analytical surveys of outside air temperature and the fluctuations in the temperatures inside the building, on the basis of the obtained data.
