OSCILLATING WATER COLUMN IN WAVE GENERATION SYSTEM FOR THE MINIMUM INFLOW LOSS TYPE

PURPOSE: An oscillating water column for a wave generation system to reduce inflow loss is provided to increase the efficiency of a wave power generation system by reduction in loss coefficient due to the decrement of inflow loss. CONSTITUTION: An oscillating water column(20) for a wave generation system is installed inside a marine structure. The oscillating water column has the shape of a pillar. A turbine and a generator are formed on the top of the oscillating water column. A sinker(23) is formed on the lower part of the oscillating water column. The power is generated by the inflow and outflow of seawater through an oscillating water column inlet. A divergent tube(30) is formed on the lower part of the sinker.
