<p>A mould-releasxe agent for press. casting is solid at >=20 degrees C and is in the form of a rod or block, consisting of the mould-release substance in a carrier. The rod or block can be rubbed over the surface of the mould more rapidly than the application of the usual mould-release agents. The use of brushes is avoided. The mould-release agent contains a smaller amt of volatile matter, thus avoiding streaks on the mould surface and porosity of the cast metal.</p> |
