<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a light transmitting display panel, the method which is free from influence such as deposit of degradation products in laser marking and which facilitates formation of a light transmitting display part and a light shielding layer having no pin holes or stripe patterns, without being restricted by color tones. <P>SOLUTION: This is a method of manufacturing the light transmitting display panel which is equipped with a light transmitting substrate 1, a light shielding layer 21 formed on the front and rear face of the substrate 1 and provided with a notched part 22 of a prescribed pattern, and a light transmitting display part 31 formed in this notched part 22. Laser marking is performed from the peelable layer side of a display panel substrate which is composed of the light transmitting substrate, the light shielding layer formed on the front and rear face thereof, and the peelable layer formed on the face of the light shielding layer. The method includes a process of forming the notched part of the prescribed pattern on the light shielding layer, a process of forming a light transmitting display layer at least on the notched part, and a process of peeling the peelable layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
