PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain fish-breeding feed capable of keeping the color of dark colored flesh of sashimi (sliced raw fish) and capable of retarding the color change of the dark colored flesh rapidly progressed by the oxidation of the muscle pigment (myoglobin) not by artificially changing a muscle pigment but by drawing out the latent ability of fish at maximum. SOLUTION: This fish feed contains a natural food material singly having color improving or keeping functions for the dark colored flesh. The natural food material has also improving and keeping functions for the dark colored flesh, capable of slowly progressing the change of the dark colored flesh synchronously with the change of freshness by feeding fish by the fish feed when the fish is processed to a sashimi. The natural food material is preferably cayenne pepper or a component of the cayenne pepper. The fish is a bred fish, preferably yellowtails. |
