<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio receiver and a radio-receiving method, with which the power consumption of the amplifier section of a received signal can be reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The radio receiver includes an antenna 2 for receiving a signal for radio communication wherein pulses are arranged at a prescribed period and prescribed data are included; an amplifier 3 for amplifying the signal received by the antenna 2; an integrator 5 for integrating the signal amplified by the amplifier section 3 for a window period being a part of the prescribed period; a synchronization section 71 for synchronizing the timing of the pulses in the signal received by the antenna 2 with a timing of the window period; a demodulation section 92 for demodulating the signal for radio communication, on the basis of the integral value to acquire the data; and a window signal generating section 8 for allowing the amplifier 3 to execute the amplification for a synchronizing window period that is a window period in synchronism with the pulse timing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
