<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card for an information equipment, capable of holding strength of the card itself to prevent a circuit board or the like from being broken, and capable of preventing an erroneous operation of extracting an SIM card under the condition attached to the information equipment. <P>SOLUTION: This PC card 1 comprises a card main body part 3, and a card extension part 4. A chip slot 7 is provided in the inside of the card extension part 4 to attach an inserted SIM card 2. The chip slot 7 has a chip case part 7a formed into a thin case shape with an opened one end, the chip case part 7a is arranged to bring an insertion port at a reference facing surface 4a and is constituted so as to reciprocate along the insertion direction A- or extraction direction A+, accompanying the insertion and extraction of the SIM card 2.
