<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast specifying apparatus and automatic player automatically designating information relating to a piece of music or the like flowing from broadcast. <P>SOLUTION: An automatic player 1 collects sound emitted from a radio receiver to obtain an audio signal A and simultaneously receives a broadcast radio wave at a designated frequency to obtain an audio signal B. Next, correlation coefficients of these two audio signals A, B are calculated, and whether there is audio matching is determined. When it is determined that there is no audio matching, the frequency of the broadcast radio wave to be received is switched and audio comparison is performed. Even if audio matching is not observed after comparison at all receivable frequencies, it is displayed that a program can not be specified. If it is determined that there is audio matching, the automatic player 1 transmits to a music server 2 a frequency F of the broadcast radio wave and time information (t), and the music server 2 obtains program information from a program information server 3 on the basis of the frequency F and the time information (t), and outputs to the automatic player 1, information relating to a piece of music broadcasted at the relevant frequency at a relevant time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
