PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus which is preferable to grinding correction of a repair spot on a worn part of a slotted rail laid for a streetcar, the worn part being caused by a flange of a wheel of the streetcar. SOLUTION: The apparatus moves with pairs of front and rear wheels that roll on a body portion Ra of the slotted rail R for a streetcar, which rail R has a guide portion Rb and the body portion Ra that are arranged longitudinally via a slot Rc. On the base frame of the apparatus, a grindstone unit 3, which has a unit main body 3A fitted with a grindstone 4 rolled by a driving means, is mounted in such a way that the grindstone 4 is adjusted to come in contact or move away freely with/from the inner side face of body portion Ra that is closer to the slot Rc. A support level 21 is provided with a guide roller opposite to the inner face of the body portion Ra, which guide roller rolls along the inner side face of slot Rc that is closer to the guide portion Rb, and the upper end of the support level 21 is pivoted rockably on the unit main body 3A via a support shaft 20.
