摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-vehicle communication controller consolidating communication lines without deteriorating a real time performance in communication. <P>SOLUTION: A meter ECU 10 is equipped with: a comparing part 13 for comparing signal levels on a communication line 7 with predetermined two receiving thresholds for magnitude; and a communication IC 12 for reproducing a bit stream on the basis of comparison results by the comparing part 13. For the transmission of the signal on the communication line 7, a binary code (first code) being at a high speed and having large amplitude and a binary code (second code) being at a low speed and having small amplitude are used. The comparing part 15 has: a first comparator 15a for comparing the signal levels by the first receiving threshold which is larger than the amplitude of the second code and smaller than the amplitude of the first code to binarize the signal levels; and a second comparator 15b for comparing the signal levels by the second receiving threshold which is smaller than the amplitude of the second code to binarize the signal levels.
