<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid a state where a planar antenna cannot be tilted when adjusting a beam axis. <P>SOLUTION: The radar device includes: the planar antenna provided tiltably to a casing; a means of detecting an antenna angle to the direction of gravity of the planar antenna while the casing has been fixed to vehicles; an antenna tilting section for tilting the antenna, such that the antenna angle becomes a reference antenna angle; and a storage section for storing a history of the tilting angle of the planar antenna and a tiltable range of the planar antenna. In the radar device, the antenna tilting section prevents the planar antenna from being tilted when the sum of a scheduled tilting angle in tilting, such that the antenna angle becomes the reference antenna angle, and the history of the tilting angle exceeds the tiltable range, thus avoiding a state where the planar antenna cannot be tilted when adjusting a beam axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
