<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate measurement of the length of a cable with high accuracy. <P>SOLUTION: A device 100 for measuring and controlling the cable includes cable support units 15-1, 15-2 that support a cable 2 withdrawn from a cable drum 9, and a cable measuring unit 13 that captures an image of a surface of the cable and measures the length of the cable 2 based on a correlation between images captured at continuous positions by irradiating the surface of the cable supported by the cable support units 15-1, 15-2 with light, and providing a reflected light on an imaging surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
