<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire grid polarizer which is free from peel-off of a protective layer even under a high temperature and high humidity environment, and can keep polarization performance, and is excellent in durability. <P>SOLUTION: The wire grid polarizer 100 has: a base material 101; metallic wires 102 provided to nearly parallelly extend with a fixed interval in the fixed direction on the base material 101; and an adhesive layer 104 provided to cover at least a portion of the metallic wire 102, wherein the acid value of the adhesive layer 104 is≤5.0 mgKOH/g and adhesive strength is≥1.5 N/25 mm. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
