<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and precisely obtain a log concerning an item selecting operation. <P>SOLUTION: An item region R1 for displaying an item group and an information region R2 for displaying information corresponding to an item selected from the item group in a screen with a multiple pane structure are specified. The screen change of the item region R1 with the screen change of the information region R2 is determined thereby to obtain a log concerning the item selecting operation for changing-over the display content of the information region R2. In the screen 110, for example, the display contents of the item region R1 and the information region R2 change together, so as to determine that the item selecting operation for changing-over the display content of the information region R2 is performed.
