<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof edge light which has a wide range of application by improving luminance of an LED and can attain a high energy-saving function and has highly durable waterproofing as an outdoor LED edge light and can improve heat radiation in order to prevent increase in temperature rising caused by raising luminance of the LED. <P>SOLUTION: The surface of the edge light is covered with a transparent film 4, the back surface of the edge light is made of a metal base material 3, and a belt-like light-emitting body wherein an LED 1 is mounted on a printed board 2 is integrated in the middle so as to hold the light-emitting body in order to give waterproofing to the edge light.
