<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption, and to reduce an emission amount of carbon dioxide, by automatically determining a power supply system suitable for each electronic apparatus to a plurality of kinds of electronic apparatuses connected inside a network. <P>SOLUTION: This switching power supply device 50 communicably connected with the electronic apparatus 10 operating by one system of DC power and AC power, capable of selectively supplying one of the DC power and the AC power determines the kind of the electronic apparatus by a communication result of a packet with the electronic apparatus.
