<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system, along with a terminal device, communication method and communication program, capable of starting P2P (Peer to Peer) communication by rapidly determining an NAT (Network Address Translation) type or regularity. <P>SOLUTION: In a terminal device under control of a NAT device, a type request packet requesting acquisition of a NAT type of the NAT device is transmitted to a communication control device (S123) when starting the P2P communication with an opposite-side terminal device under control of another device apparatus. In the communication control device, a stored NAT type is selected and redirected to the terminal device. In the terminal device, when the NAT type transmitted from the communication control device is received (S125:YES), a predetermined communication is performed with the opposite-side terminal device based on the received NAT type. Thus, a state where P2P communication can be performed with the opposite-side terminal device connected to the different NAT device is achieved.
